If we get equipment using one of your programs, do we also have to use your dispatching services?
You have no obligation towards our company in any capacity aside from the lease agreement. This means you are entitled to use the equipment you get from us and run it under your own authority!
When does the payment start?
The payments start on the day of sending the contract to the client. The client will be charged only for the rest of the days in that month. The following payments will be at the start of the month.
Is there a buy-out fee/balloon payment at the end of the lease agreement?
Absolutely not! Once you pay off the last monthly invoice, you can get the equipment title with no additional payments required.
What is the usage fee for rentals?
Rather than charging you mileage, brake and tire wear or engine hours for reefers, we simplified the process with a flat $150 fee per month of usage. This amount is due upon the equipment being returned. For example, if you rent a trailer for 3 months, you will have to pay $450 once you return it, in order to cover the usage fee. The upside of this approach is that you can know exactly how much you owe for maintenance at all times.
What are the key differences between Rent and Lease to Buy Programs?
All our trailers are available for both rentals and lease to buy options, it solely comes down to your preference!
Rent is a no-time limited contract on a month to month basis, which means you have no long term commitment towards us and you can return the trailer whenever you don’t need it anymore and the billing will be stopped.
Lease to Buy in essence means buying a trailer on monthly payments with 0 interest rates. It’s designed specifically for clients who prefer to keep their equipment long-term and would like to take ownership of it at the conclusion of the lease. More simply put, after your last monthly payment, you get the title to the trailer. To make the deal even sweeter, our equipment is 100% in-house financed, so you wouldn’t have to worry about banks and meddling with your credit score.
